For those of Russians who are based on all their knowledge in the field of international relations on the speeches of Dmitry Kiselev, I will explain: on the map of the Grand Empire of Qin 1821, Qing possessions are indicated by a dotted line. At the same time, the zone of the South China Sea with all the islands located in this sea was circled by a continuation of this dotted line: it is covered by an intermittent line formed by nine long strokes and denoting both the sea and the islands of China. On the basis of this “nine-train line”, China is currently pursuing a very, as it were to say this, a decisive policy to restore its sovereignty over the lost islands (for some misunderstanding, they are now considered by Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam).
The bad luck is that the islands are very far from the sea from China, but near the countries that, somehow it happened, tend to maintain a rather close relationship with the United States (even Vietnam-and he suggested that the Americans return to Kamran). And the Americans have such a habit: to build aircraft carriers in large numbers, and use them in the case of any crisis. The Chinese also considered that the aircraft carrier is a fairly effective remedy of politics, so they bought a Russian aircraft carrier sold there in Korea, and then in Ukraine an unfinished cruiser of project 1143.5 “Varangian”, which is the brother of Admiral Kuznetsov. They completed, released at sea-and finally proceeded to the final stage of implementation of the plan of counteracting American hegemonism in the zone of the South Chinese Sea, to prepare pilots of deck aircraft.
These sea ships seem to have become a favorite toy and the most important tool for achieving political goals for the leadership of China. This fact is funny: the aircraft carrier is directly subordinate to the Higher Military Commission of the PRC, the analogue of our State Defense Committee, that is, in fact, they “steer” them directly from the Chinese “Politburo of the Central Committee”, and not from the command structures of the People’s Liberation Army of China. Therefore, the task of preparing pilots for flights from a difficult deck of the former “Varangian” is given the highest priority. The Chinese, who received through Ukraine and copied the Soviet still decking aircraft Su-27K (also known under the designation of the Su-33), concluded an agreement with the same Ukrainians on the provision of pilots training services. Because in Ukraine there is a thread-a research and training complex of aviation. This is built in the Crimea, near the village of Saki, a copy of the deck “Kuznetsov” (well, or “Varangian”, if you want), on which pilots can work ups and landings on the ship. The thread today is a key link in a chain leading to China to confront the United States in the zone of the South China Sea.
The only bad luck in the fact that Crimea Russia annexed to itself, along with the village of Saki. That is, in one fell swoop, the progressive movement of Chinese leaders to establish control over the original Chinese islands is suppressed. The Russians worked on the side of the Americans, if you look from Beijing.
Beijing has always been afraid that Russia would take the side of the United States, not China, and the Beijing leadership warned Moscow against such a rash step with the far-reaching consequences. But the Kremlin nevertheless went to put the future of his favorite toy of Chinese leaders, and the aspiration of the PRC to restore their sovereignty in the South China Sea. Do you think that all this has contributed to an improvement in relations between Moscow and Beijing? I note that the Pacific Fleet of Russia, three and a half weaker than the Chinese Navy times. And on the same map of the Great Qin Empire, 1.7 million square kilometers of the territory of the current Russian Federation are covered-yes, yes, a dashed line. Chinese schoolchildren are taught: 1.7 million square kilometers of the native Chinese land (including the Chinese city of Huashevei, which the Russians are ridiculously called Vladivostok) are occupied by neighbors from the north. This, by the way, is one tenth territory of Russia. And about the agreement with Russia about the borders (which, incidentally, expires in 2017 and will be extended only with mutual consent), the Chinese even with visits to Moscow with mild adaminity say: we will achieve the “adaptation of the document to changed conditions”.
