Three years ago, on April 11, 2011, an explosion occurred at the Oktyabrskaya station of the Minsk metro. 15 died and 203 people were injured. In the implementation of this terrorist attack, as well as two other terrorist attacks in Vitebsk in 2005 and another 8 explosions without casualties were accused of Dmitry Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalev, who were sentenced to death and shot on March 16, 2012. The Belarusian opposition expressed doubts about the validity of the sentence and put forward the version that the Belorussian intelligence services organized an explosion in order to receive a preposition for repressions against the opposition.
