Russian President Vladimir Putin made a number of personnel decisions in the new Russian territory - Crimea. So, Sergey Aksenov, who became the Prime Minister of Crimea "under the muzzle of an automatic machine" shortly before the attachment of the peninsula to the Russian Federation, became, according to the presidential decree , the acting head of the Russian subject of the Republic of Crimea. Putin also decided on the head of Sevastopol and instructed temporary leaders to the subjects to hold the elections on September 14.

The President decided to appoint the interim head of Sevastopol, who, after the accession of Crimea, became the third Russian city of federal significance, the former deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Vice Admiral Sergey Schuyailo. The President promised to sign the appropriate decree at a meeting with Sergey Chanipolo and the temporarily acting governor Sevastopol Alexei Chalym, according to the Kremlin website .

At the same time, Alexei Chaly, a Russian, elected by the mayor of Sevastopol at a "rally of folk will against fascism in Ukraine" even before Crimea enters into Russia, will not be removed from business. At a meeting with President, Chaly proposed to create an agency of strategic development of Sevastopol, noting that he sees himself as the leader of this structure, Interfax reports. According to RIA Novosti , Putin supported the idea of ​​creating such an agency and clarified that the authorized documents must be issued so that the functions of the new structure supplement the functions of the city administration.

However, both Channel and Aksenov will occupy these positions temporarily. “We need to integrate into the legislation of Russia from the point of view of the election,” Putin said at a meeting with Chally and Chancielo. The head of state asked if the city was ready for elections in September. The officials could not tell the president “no”, judging by the ITAR-TASS report. “We will do it and, of course, support, we will prepare in the country and in Sevastopol should prepare for the elections. A single voting day in Russia - September 14, by this time it will be necessary to carry out the appropriate work,” Putin concluded. We are talking about elections only to the city parliament, since according to the Crimean Constitution and the Republic and Sevastopol, they abandoned the popular elections of the head of the subject - he will be elected deputies, as is happening in the Caucasian republics.

By the way, at a meeting with Aksenov, Putin also asked if Crimea was ready for the parliamentary elections on September 14 and received a positive answer.
