The mother of the pilot Yaroshenko announced the unsatisfactory state of health of her son

The health status of the Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, who is serving time in the American prison Fort Dix, remains unsatisfactory. It is reported by Interfax with reference to the mother of the pilot Lyubov Yaroshenko.

She said that Yaroshenko continues to experience serious pain in the chest. According to the pilot, his well -being allows us to think that in early February he suffered a stroke, and at present he is trying to cope with its consequences.

Lyubov Yaroshenko also noted that her son, in fact, is engaged in self-medication, since he acquires painkillers in a prison pharmacy in order to at least somehow cope with the pain experienced.

According to her, Yaroshenko needs medical care and a diagnosis. “The fact that the head of the Fort Dix prison wrote in his response about the infection of the respiratory tract allegedly transferred by my son is neither an argument nor the truth in the last instance,” she said.

In addition, as the pilot’s mother said, the prison administration still refuses to confirm the diagnosis of medical documents.

Konstantin Yaroshenko was arrested on May 28, 2010 in Liberia on charges of preparing the transportation of a large batch of cocaine, and then deported to the United States. On September 7, 2011, the American court sentenced the Russian to 20 years in prison.

The state of health of the pilot worsened in early February. According to relatives and a lawyer, Yaroshenko experienced chest pain and breathing problems.

Later, the defense of the Russian pilot Yaroshenko received a letter from the prison administration with the results of a medical investigation. In response to the request, the head of the prison said that the Russian pilot revealed problems in the chest area, but they are not related to cardiology. The letter states that "that week when he began to complain about severe pain in the chest, prison doctors diagnosed him with a severe respiratory tract infection."
