In the Donetsk region, three unknown people attacked a checkpoint put up by pro -Russian militants, and shot at least 10 people from machine guns. This was reported on his Facebook page by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Lesya Orobets with reference to three different sources at once. “The volunteer movement of Donetsk,” the deputy notes. At the same time, she adds, “about other signs of the anti -terrorist operation” her interlocutors are not known.
In general, the Orobets, located in Dnepropetrovsk, evaluates the situation in the region as "very bad." “A full -fledged invasion has been committed,” writes the deputy. “The reconnaissance and sabotage groups of the GRU, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, is at least a few, a common number to the battalion.”
She notes that the paratroopers from under Dnepropetrovsk were transferred to the Slavyansk area, but their commander has not been showing any initiative within a day and a half. “If the situation is not broken up during the day,” the oporian is sure, “Ukrainian border guards and the army will not be able to recapture the frontal attack of Russian troops on the border (they essentially cut off all communications.”
Meanwhile, militants are already walking around the apartments of people who support the integrity of Ukraine, the deputy said.
On April 17, a large rally for the integrity of Ukraine is scheduled in Donetsk. “Someone prophesies the battle, and someone sees a certain chance in this,” writes Orobets.
The deputy, on the contrary, calls the situation in the neighboring Luhansk region "generally good." Half of the police wrote a dismissal report, the other serves Ukraine. All weapons and ammunition were distributed by the police, and secret documents are securely hidden. On the roads of the region are police checkpoints.
At the same time, the Orobets adds, in connection with the employment of the police on the protection of the buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and checkpoints in the region, crime increased by 300 percent, including due to unemployment.
Meanwhile, the building of the regional headquarters of the SBU is still in the hands of militants. “The Local SBU was captured by Sokol, Golden Eagle and Afghans,” writes the Orabz, “who swept the situation in order to get the same privileges as their“ brothers in mind ”in the Crimea.
