The head of the administration of the Ussuri city district, Sergei Ruditsa, was temporarily suspended from the performance of duties. This decision was made by the Leninsky District Court of Vladivostok, reports PrimaMedia. The property of the mayor is seized.
On Tuesday, a criminal case was instituted against Ruditsa under the article "negligence". The investigation believes that in 2011-2012, the mayor of Ussuriysk illegally approved municipal acts on the performance of work on the manufacture of a steam turbogenerator installation as part of the modernization of the city boiler room.
As a result, the contractor received about 31 million rubles. Then the contracts were terminated at the initiative of the administration of the city district of Ussuriysk. Since the acts were signed, the money paid to the budget did not return.
The prosecutor's office of the Primorsky Territory approved the initiation of a criminal case, and also approved the arrest of a residential building and two land plots belonging to Ruditsa.
The mayor of Ussuriysk has already become an object of attention of investigators. In 2008, Sergey Ruditsa became a defendant in the criminal case on the abuse of authority, after he adopted an illegal decision on the demolition of a residential building without a decision to evict residents. However, on December 30, 2008, the criminal case was terminated due to the lack of corpus delicti.
