89 million rubles amounted to damage from fraud in the sale of property of the Ministry of Defense

In the period from 2011-2012, the former director of one of the subsidiaries of OJSC Voentorg, together with accomplices, removed seven real estate properties in Krasnoznamensk near Moscow from federal ownership and sold at a reduced cost, the press service of the Main Military Prosecutor's Office of Russia . reports

The amount of damage from completed transactions exceeded 89 million rubles. The name of the suspect or the name of the subsidiary was not specified in the agency's report.

A criminal case based on the results of inspections was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 201 (abuse of authority) and part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).
