DPR flags were raised over the city councils of Novoazovsk and Krasnoarmeysk

Residents of Novoazovsk and Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk region raised the flags of the Donetsk People's Republic over the buildings of the city councils.

According to the website of the Rodnoye Priazovye newspaper , in Novoazovsk, several dozen activists came to the city council building demanding that the local authorities support a referendum on the self-determination of Donbass and recognize the Donetsk People's Republic. During the session, the deputies of the district council acknowledged that they were also in favor of holding a referendum and took note of the declaration on the state sovereignty of the DPR. From the building of the City Council, activists put up the state flags of Ukraine and hung the flag of the DPR.

A rally of supporters of the referendum was also held in Krasnoarmeysk today, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the 1 + 1 TV channel. After the action, the residents of the city came to the city council building and attached the flag of the Donetsk People's Republic to it.
