The soil failed in the center of Moscow

In the center of Moscow, the soil failed over the old basement. This was reported by Interfax with reference to a source in the law enforcement agencies of the city.

It is reported that the failure of the soil on an area of ​​almost 15 m² and occurred in a depth of 3 meters in the courtyard of house No. 16 on Filippovsky Lane. The soil fell over an abandoned basement, where coal warehouses were once located.

Information about the incident was received by rescue services at 08:50.

It is noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident, however, a passenger car hung over the formed pit.
