Putin promises to help rain

Today, April 17, President Vladimir Putin, after a direct line, told reporters that he was ready to save the rain television channel from excessive attention of the regulatory authorities that interfere with his work.

“If the result that rain does not go to the screens, there were some checks and excess attention of these all the regulatory authorities, then I will do everything for my part to save you from such excessive attention,” Interfax quotes the words of the head of state.

Putin emphasized that “rain” is an interesting television channel with a good young team, “but, as you yourself said, made certain mistakes, frankly, not just mistakes, but offending a large number of our citizens.”

“We must admit this, in fact, you have already done this, and see how to get out of this situation,” Putin said.

The Rain TV channel was at risk of closing after this year after a scandal with a survey of blockade Leningrad, all major operators stopped its broadcasting. At the end of January, the Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg conducted a “rain” check in connection with the survey.
