Mamut will become CEO of Rambler&Co

The managing shareholder of Rambler&Co (former Afisha-Ramler-SUP) Alexander Mamut will take the chair of the company's CEO. He himself reported this to Lenta.Ru , which is part of the media holding.

“I was quite involved in the merger processes at Rambler&Co. Apparently, I got carried away, and now I have a great desire to invest maximum efforts in the development of the company, ”the businessman admitted.

According to him, the appointment will take place on April 21. The current general director of the company, Petr Zakharov, who is going on vacation next week, will be removed from his post. The further format of his cooperation with Rambler & Co will be determined when Zakharov returns from vacation.

Afisha-Rambler-SUP was formed in May 2013 after the merger of the assets of Afisha-Rambler by Vladimir Potanin and Alexander Mamut's SUP Media. At the same time, Peter Zakharov was appointed general director. On April 15, the media holding was renamed Rambler&Co.

Rambler&Co includes the Rambler search engine, the Lenta.Ru and Gazeta.Ru websites, the Afisha publication, the Chempionat.Com sports portal, the LiveJournal blog platform and other sites.
