The early period for taking the Unified State Exam will begin on April 21

The early period for passing the Unified State Exam begins on Monday. Today, the head of the Federal Testing Center, Vitaly Ponomarenko, told reporters at a briefing what innovations await graduates this year. A significant difference between the 2014 Unified State Exam and the exam of previous years will be the increase in the number of zones by time zone.

“Each zone will have its own unique control and measuring materials, which will not be repeated in others,” the Rosbalt agency quotes Ponomarenko.

In addition, this year in the Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Orel and Tula regions, CMMs (control and measuring materials) will be printed directly in the classroom in the presence of state exam participants. The choice of regions is explained by their readiness for such a procedure. The head of the FCT believes that this technology “allows us to shorten the chain of delivery of exam materials and the opportunities that fraudsters have to steal CMMs.” All classrooms will be equipped with video cameras, Ponomarenko noted.

Unified State Exam assignments will be delivered to other regions of Russia in packed boxes accompanied by security guards. This lightweight cardboard box is wrapped five times with a special blue and white tape with the inscriptions Unified State Examination 2014 and is equipped with various identifiers: address of the collection point, code, barcode, etc.

According to Ponomarenko, it is impossible to open such a box painlessly, Interfax reports .

For the first time, each USE participant will be asked to fill out a questionnaire, where they can express their comments about the conduct of the exam, complaints about neighbors, and organizers from the exam center. The questionnaires will be included in packages with control and measurement materials. Envelopes with USE-2014 assignments will be protected from photography. The Unified State Exam tasks included in them have a complex participant identification system (individual barcodes, numbers). Thus, from photographs of materials, if they are posted on the Internet, it will be possible to figure out who photographed them and where.

During the state exam, a special situation center will be open for journalists, where they can obtain information about the Unified State Examination. Accreditation can be obtained through the press service of Rosobrnadzor, Interfax reported , citing the press secretary of the head of the department, Sergei Shatunov.
