In Kazakhstan, a passenger train got off the rails, there are victims

In Kazakhstan, the passenger train came off the rails with the message of Alma -Ata - Atyrau. At the time of the accident, there were 495 passengers and employees of the train. According to Interfax , six victims were sent to the regional center of Makat of vehicles.

The remaining passengers are in the steppe near the train, gradually exported with minibuses to the nearest railway station.

Seven wagons fell on their side and five more went off the rails. The train itself was disconnected into two parts, the distance between which is 70-80 meters.

Currently, the evacuation of people continues, including with the help of three helicopters of the Ministry of Emergencies. The deputy akim (head of the administration) of the region Salimzhan Stropaev arrived at the scene.

Near the train there are five fire brigades, ambulances, several police cars.

Incobes, representatives of the prosecutor’s office work at the scene and restoration work is already underway. The cause of the emergency is set.
