
Iran completed work to reduce the level of enrichment of uranium to 5%, IRNA reports with reference to the head of the local nuclear energy organization Ali Akbar Salehi.
Salehi emphasized that the work was completed in accordance with the Geneva Agreements. According to him, Iran completed the process of dilution with water and converting to uranium oxide 200 kilograms of enriched uranium.
The official explained that within a month Iran will provide the Magate information about his activities in this area. He also said that Iran and the Six are close to the conclusion of an agreement on a heavy water reactor in Arak.
On Thursday, the Magate confirmed that Iran neutralized about half of the reserves of highly enriched uranium. In this regard, the United States defrosted Tegeran assets of $ 450 million.
