Application for march on May 6

The opposition submitted to the Moscow City Hall an application for a demonstration and rally on May 6 in support of Bolotnaya prisoners.

According to Radio Liberty , first there will be a demonstration on Bolshaya Yakimanka and Big Polyanka, and then a rally on Bolotnaya Square.

According to the activist of the Solidarity movement, Peter Tsarkov, the action is held in support of the defendants in the criminal case of riots on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012 , when the opposition procession was dispersed by the police.

In relation to the participants in the action, criminal cases were instituted under articles on riots and the application of violence against a representative of the authorities. Of the 29 defendants in the “swamp business” 11 were amnestied, 9 people were sentenced to different terms of imprisonment, one - Mikhail Kosenko - was prescribed forced treatment, and Alexander Dukhanina determined the court.
