
On the eve of the year of the German language and literature, Goethe -Institute in Moscow announces the contest "Best Teacher / Teacher of the German Language of Russia - 2014".
The prize will be awarded in seven nominations:
Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until July 31, then the jury will choose the five best candidates in each nomination. All of them will be invited to Moscow.
At the award ceremony on November 22, as part of the II Forum of Russian Teachers and German Teachers in Moscow, the jury will name the names of the seven winners who will be awarded a trip to Germany.
In 2014, the competition is held under the motto of the German lesson: with an innovative approach (Deutschunterricht Innovativ Gestalten). Teachers and teachers are invited to demonstrate on a practical example the use of creative ideas, effective techniques and teaching methods, as well as the use of media technologies necessary to create a modern lesson.
“This year we hold a competition for the second time in the framework of the year of the German language and literature. The first competition was held in 2012 and was dedicated to the year of Germany in Russia. --says Anna Schenhagen, the head of the language department, deputy director of the Goethe-Institute in Moscow. - We received 1,200 applications, of which 200 teachers and teachers went to the next tour. The jury first selected 35 nominees from 27 Russian cities and villages. We hope that the competition will gain momentum every year, and the number of participants will increase. ”
