In Lugansk they chose the "People's Governor"

In Lugansk, the participants in the closed meeting of the "Narodnoye" chose the "People's Governor" Valery Bolotov, the commander of the so-called army of the southeast. This was reported by Interfax with reference to Bolotov himself.

According to the news agency, representatives of the press at the meeting of the gathering, which took place in the captured building of the SBU Office, was not allowed. According to the results of the meeting, Bolotov promised to reordinate the residents of the region all the power structures (including the courts and the Ministry of Internal Affairs), as well as create the People’s Army and the People’s Council of the Luhansk region.

Interfax also reports that the delegates of the folk gathering in closed mode continue to discuss the issue of “federalization of the Luhansk region”. How it is supposed to be federal is unknown.

In turn, the Ukrainian Pravda reports that local entrepreneur Vladimir Warsawsky was elected by the People’s Governor of Kharkov. He stated that he would wait until the current head of the Kharkov regional administration, Igor Balut, will put his powers.

Earlier on April 21, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine opened a case of pro -Russian speeches in Lugansk, calling the rallies separatist and illegitimate. Last week, the Ukrainian authorities began a military operation in the east of the country in connection with protest actions conducted by pro -Russian activists in a number of cities. So, on April 6, such shares were held in Lugansk, Donetsk and Kharkov. In Donetsk and Kharkov, the shares participants seized the buildings of local administrations, and in Lugansk the SBU building.
