"The problem of social capital in post -Soviet countries: an example of Latvia"

On the example of Latvia, different aspects of the influence of social capital will be considered

The scientific and educational research laboratory in the field of business communications invites on April 21 to the seminar “The problem of social capital in post-Soviet countries: an example of Latvia”.

Speaker: Ilona Bauman-Vitolin, the University of Latvia (Riga), the faculty of economics and management.

A specialist in the field of cross-cultural management, research of social capital, organizational culture and behavior.

Annotation: Most studies on the analysis of social capital emphasize its positive influence. Nevertheless, some negative aspects of its functioning are noted in post -Soviet countries. At the seminar, on the example of Latvia, different aspects of the influence of social capital will be considered, and a comparative analysis of the situation in the post -Soviet space will also be proposed.
