Vladimir Yurovsky will talk about Prometheus

On June 8-10, conductor Vladimir Yurovsky will continue the educational cycle in the concert hall. Tchaikovsky in Moscow with three contacts dedicated to the myth of Prometheus in music.

The first three concerts of the series “History with the Orchestra. Vladimir Yurovsky conducts and says ”, presented in the Moscow Philharmonic last year, were held with full halls, and the maestro decided to resume the project in the new season.

At the final concert of the cycle on June 10 , the symphonic poem of the leaf “Prometheus”, the cantata of Saint-Sans “Wedding Prometheus”, the songs of Schubert and Wolf, as well as the third symphony of Beethoven (“heroic”) will be performed.
