In an interview with Rosbalt, Old Believers called the sentence a sentence to him "in installments." He noted that one of the conditions of the trial period is not to make administrative violations, but the CPE, if desired, at any time, can fabricate an administrative case against him, which will lead to a replacement of a conditional term to real. “I probably would have emotionally much easier to sit down than today not to know what will happen tomorrow,” the activist remarked. “On the other hand, comrades say that I will be more useful at large.” At the same time, the Old Believers added, he will have to think through the tactics of his actions, since "participating in inconsistent rallies is now too much luxury."

The trial of Old Believers lasted since July 2013. Since December 2012, when the activist was charged, he was under the subscription about the lower room.
