The special forces in the field of ensuring the safety of the road traffic by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced a tender for the supply of state registration signs for cars to Sevastopol and Simferopol (Republic of Crimea).
The initial price of the state contract is almost 260 million rubles, the corresponding application is placed on the public procurement portal. According to the technical assignment, it is planned to purchase 974 thousand sets of different types of car numbers.
Documents on the adoption of new regions in the Russian Federation have already been signed, and the regions have been assigned numbers for car codes - "82" (Crimea) and "92" (Sevastopol). Recall that the “82” code was previously assigned to the Koryak Autonomous Okrug, which later became part of the Kamchatka Territory.
Crimea and Sevastopol became part of Russia after the referendum held there on March 16, during which most residents spoke out for joining the Russian Federation.
