10 commandments of a good wife

In 1620, the rabbi from Poznan, Yitzhak Ben Elyakim, wrote for his daughter the book << Good Heart >>, which, among other things, contained "10 commandments of a good wife":

1. Be careful when your husband is angry. At this moment, if there were no fun, nor grumpy - smile and speak quietly.
2. Do not force your husband to wait for food. Hunger is the father of anger.
3. Do not wake him when he sleeps.
4. Be careful with his money. Do not hide your money from him.
5. Keep his secrets. If he boasts, hold on a secret.
6. Do not approve of his enemies and do not hate his friends.
7. Do not object to him and do not claim that your advice is better than him.
8. Do not expect it to be impossible from him.
9. If you are attentive to his requests, he will become your slave.
10. Do not say anything that would hurt him. If you treat him like the king, he will treat you as a queen.
