“Young people do not need anything”, “ they leave ”-these are the most common opinions about the problems of youth in Kirovo-Chepetsk, as in any small city in our country. Meanwhile, there are not enough personnel at the leading enterprises of the city, there are not enough specialists-managers in the local authorities.

The youth environment is a pursuit of modern trends and fashion. People live where they are comfortable, where there is at least an illusion of comfort. The question is not only in the variety of entertainment. The point is the perception of the city and its own prospects in it. The creation of comfortable conditions for the development of youth is the task of not only the authorities, but also local communities, public organizations, and interest clubs.

These institutions are poorly developed in our country, and this sign is quite alarming. For youth policy, creating and supporting independent local communities should be tasks of paramount importance.

But if the youth themselves enters the dialogue , looking for the opportunity to improve the life of the city and citizens - these are good indicators. The main thing is to perceive and hear them correctly. The younger generation should give a discount on age: it is not always possible for us to correctly formulate and express our aspirations. Several sharp answers from the authorities - and motivation for activities may be lost for a long time. That is how potential leaders break, who do not notice and do not recognize in time.

Discussion meetings are a good chance to establish cooperation in resolving problematic issues between young people and authorities.

Who, if not we, right? This is not narcissism, but a simple fact: the salvation of the drowning person needs to be entrusted to himself. This is a fair approach, and we are ready for it. True, so far we are not enough knowledge of social design, managerial methods, and sometimes a simple council of experienced people . And for the events themselves, there are often lacking resources .

All of the above does not require large investments from the authorities. It is only necessary to slightly adjust the priorities of youth policy. It is important to raise the issue of creating a resource center for young people, because now there is no permanent "Asset School", there is no youth center, children have nowhere to get skills and skills for personal growth.

It was to these conclusions that we came to the March meeting with representatives of the city administration. Existing youth organizations and communities could easily and with pleasure could share knowledge with each other and help with the resource base. But now they are removed from each other and often do not have their own "home".

The communications between youth communities and the education system are very poorly established. But various NPOs could greatly help in organizing extracurricular activities in educational institutions.

A striking negative example of the lack of cooperation : the first youth social play “This is not a dream ...” never shown for all schools of the city. Someone was afraid to look into the eyes of reality, and someone simply did not bother to notify the students of his school.

We really want to build a friendly relationship with the authorities on the basis of mutual understanding , respect and cooperation. Believe me, we have something to offer. Will this proposal be accepted?
