On April 24-25, Mikhail Khodorkovsky is holding a conference " Ukraine-Russia: Dialogue " in Kiev. The forum will be held at the NSC Olimpiyskiy, admission is free.
The conference is held with the participation of "Open Russia", the Russian PEN Center and the "Third Ukrainian Republic" movement. In addition to Khodorkovsky, the appeal to the participants was signed by Lyudmila Ulitskaya and Yuriy Lutsenko.
The organizers formulate the main goal of the conference as follows: "to demonstrate goodwill, solidarity and mutual respect."
Conference objectives:
hold a symbolic action of solidarity between the Russian and Ukrainian intelligentsia;
strengthening ties and establishing cooperation between the Russian and Ukrainian intelligentsia;
counteracting the information war that has unfolded today between our countries;
discussion of measures to counter state propaganda;
drawing up a "road map" for overcoming the crisis in relations between Ukraine and Russia.
The forum is attended by Russian and Ukrainian economists, political scientists, journalists, as well as civil activists, teachers, doctors, environmentalists, scientists and cultural figures.
In addition to plenary sessions at the beginning and end, work in sections and thematic round tables are provided.
