On January 15, the National Anti -Terrorism Committee said that one of the militants destroyed during the special operation in Dagestan was the organizer of the attack in Pyatigorsk. The name of the murdered is Marat Idrisov. He was considered the leader of the Khasavyurt band group and the organizer of the attack in Pyatigorsk December 27, 2013. Then, as a result of the explosion near the traffic police building, three people died and three more were injured. According to NAK, Idrisov joined the gang in January last year and soon headed it. In November 2013, he was put on the federal wanted list.

In total, during the operation in Dagestan, four bandits were destroyed on January 15, three law enforcement officials were killed, and five security officials were wounded. Civilians, according to NAC, were not injured.
