
On Thursday, April 24, in the Tver District Court of Moscow (Color Bruste, 25a), the Civil activist Sergei Mokhnatkin, accused of attacking police officers, will begin to be considered on the merits. The beginning of the hearings at 14:00. The name of the judge leading the process is not indicated on the court website.
Preliminary hearings in the case took place on April 11 . In accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure, they took place closed. During the hearing, the judge extended the arrest until May 11. At the same meeting, the Politzek refused the services of a state lawyer, saying that he would defend himself.
Mokhnatkin was detained at the December strategy-31 campaign and two days later arrested. Two affairs were initiated against him under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (the use of non -hazardous violence to a representative of the authorities), which later combined into one production. According to the first episode, the victim is a colonel of the 2nd Opera of the Main Directorate of Moscow Sergey Shorin, according to the second - an employee of the same regiment, whose name did not appear in open sources. Mokhnatkin threatens up to five years in the colony.
In June 2010, Mokhnatkin was sentenced to two and a half years in a colony settlement on similar charges. He was found guilty of attacking a policeman on December 31, 2009 on strategy-31 shares. In the colony, he was repeatedly placed in a schizo and PCT (a chamber type, that is, an internal prison), Mokhnatkin held long hunger strikes. In April 2012, he was pardoned by President Dmitry Medvedev. Since the summer of 2013, Mokhnatkin has participated in the process in the "swamp business" as a public defender Sergei Krivov.
