The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated at a press conference on April 24 in Moscow that the United States should call the Kiev authorities to the first steps to specter the conflict in the east of Ukraine, and also called the use of the army against the population of the southeast by the crime, Interfax reports.
“The use of the army, and even based on radical nationalists against the people, is an absolutely unacceptable form of violence, moreover, I believe that this is a criminal decision,” Lavrov explained, adding also that American partners can and should affect the Kyiv authorities.
Earlier on Thursday, during negotiations with the Lebanese Foreign Minister Dzhebrahn Basil, the Russian minister said that it is not possible to give up until the Geneva-2 agreements are fulfilled, ITAR-TASS reports.
Recall that on April 23, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine demanded that Moscow provide information on the practical steps of the Russian Federation on the implementation of Geneva agreements, and US President Barack Obama announced that the Russian side was not holding agreements concluded in Geneva. Sergei Lavrov, in turn, said that the United States and the European Union carry out another “color revolution” in Ukraine.
