© 16thline Art Gallery Yuri MuravitskyOn May 9 and 10, on the main stage of the Taganka Theater, the premiere of the performance of Yuri Muravitsky will be held “Victory Day” based on the play by Mikhail Durnenkov “Dreams of the War”.
The artist is Irina Korina, actors Felix Antipov, Alexander Basova, Anna Bukatin, Dmitry Vysotsky, Teimuraz Glonti, Ivan Zosin, Roman Staburov, Alexander Frolov are employed in the play .
The play “Dreams of the War”, written specifically by order of the theater, is devoted to the problems of historical memory, responsibility to the past that does not tolerate speculation.
The heroes of the play are the peers of the playwright and director, those who were born in the late 70s and know about the Great Patriotic War of books, films and family stories. In the focus of the attention of the play is the consciousness of the protagonist, today's thirty -five -year -old man who has been forced to encounter the theme of war.
The editor of television programs, who agreed to work in the event agency, is in the company of the burned "creative people", who is instructed to urgently come up with the script for the celebration of Victory Day at one of the main venues of the capital.
This “order” makes the hero think about a personal connection with the war, about his own attitude to distant, at first glance, events. But the compressed terms and the format of a large -scale city holiday itself do not leave the opportunity for a comprehensive, indifferent understanding of the war and its consequences. The need for a guaranteed result and a given format narrow the concept of the holiday to banal cliches and recognizable attributes.
