Japan is introducing sanctions against Russia as part of the agreements adopted by the G7 leaders. The day before Japan, on April 28, the United States, the European Union and Canada announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia in connection with the events in Ukraine. Washington added seven officials to the sanctions list, including Rosneft President Igor Sechin (No. 1 in the ranking of the most valuable Russian top managers according to Forbes , total compensation for the year - $50 million), as well as 17 Russian banks and companies. In addition, the US Department of Commerce announced the introduction of “additional restrictions” against 13 of these companies. The sanctions list compiled by Canada will include nine Russian citizens and two companies, the names of which have not yet been disclosed. EU ambassadors in Brussels also approved a new blacklist on Tuesday, which will include 15 more citizens of Russia and Ukraine.
