The clashes between the separatists and supporters of the unity of Ukraine led to numerous victims in Odessa. 38 people died as a result of a fire in the house of trade unions. In street clashes, dozens of people were also injured. The Ukrainian military was almost cleared of Slavyansk militants. There, too, could not do without the dead and the wounded.
