Initially, on the anniversary of the overclocking of the marsh of millions, the Committee of Protest Affairs planned to arrange a procession on Bolshaya Yakimanka with a subsequent rally on Bolotnaya. However, the Moscow City Hall refused the organizers to agree on the action, proposing in return to limit themselves to one rally on Sakharov Avenue. The committee of protest actions expressed his readiness to abandon the procession, but continued to insist on Bolotnaya as the place of the rally. On April 30, officials sent the organizers the final refusal to coordinate. After that, a number of oppositionists announced his intention to go to Bolotnaya inconsistently.

They also lit fireers. All participants in the action, as well as the journalist Andrei Zubets, who shot it, were detained and delivered to the OP "Yakimanka". They issued protocols under Articles 19.3 and 20.2. In the evening, the Zamoskvoretsky district court of the capital sentenced two participants in the action - Maxim Chekanov and Ildar Dadin - by 5 and 15 days of arrest, respectively.
