The acting President of Ukraine, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexander Turchinov, fired Vladimir Nemirovsky from the post of head of the Odessa regional state administration.
The corresponding decree is published on the website of the President of Ukraine. The new governor of the Odessa region was appointed a deputy, businessman and ex-head of the board of the largest oil company Ukrnaft Igor Palitsa.

On May 2, in Odessa, as a result of clashes between pro -Ukrainian and pro -Russian activists, according to official figures, 46 people were killed, about 200 were injured.
