Tsoi wall will appear on the Internet

The Council of Deputies of the municipal district Arbat approved the project to create an online version of the Victor Tsoi walls, reproducing the Tsoi memorial wall on the old Arbat in the center of Moscow. The site is planned to be launched on the day of the death of the musician - August 15.

The creator of the project, sculptor Elena Aseeva told Izvestia about this: “Last year I heard with horror that they were going to demolish the wall of Tsoi. To save the sacred place for fans at least in the virtual space, I decided to make a memorial site. It will look like a real wall, and it will be possible to leave the inscriptions on it using a computer mouse. All written messages will be preserved, unlike the real wall, which officials and vandals periodically smear. ”

According to Aseeva, the site will take place on the day and nights, the noise of the old Arbat and the songs of Viktor Tsoi will sound. The editor will be monitored by the acts of vandalism, whose duties will be the removal of insulting inscriptions.

The fundraising for creating the site “Wall of Victor Tsoi” will be carried out from the sale of the works of mosaists, which will portray the paintings of Viktor Tsoi in special technique. The exhibition will be held on June 21 at the Sokol CSI.

The presentation of the site will be held in St. Petersburg in the club-museum "Kamchatka", where Viktor Tsoi worked as a stoker from 1986 to 1988. A QR code will be applied on the real wall of Tsoi with reference to the memorial site.
