The Ministry of Defense of South Korea announced on Thursday that joint analysis with American experts confirmed that all the drones that had crashed over the past months in the country have arrived from the DPRK. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the South Korean media.
The representative of the military department Kim Min Sok told reporters that experts came to this conclusion after studying the GPS coordinates, which were equipped with UAVs.
“We confirmed that all three UAVs come from North Korea. We are talking about an obvious military provocation, ”he said.
Disruptions were discovered in different areas near the border between two neighboring states from March 24 to April 6.
Despite the extremely primitive design, they were equipped with video cameras and took pictures of the border regions and the capital of Seoul, including the president’s residence.
The DPRK categorically denied that Pyongyang had any relation to this.
“The enemies continue the campaign of lies and slander, having invented a ridiculous incident with drones,” the statement distributed in mid -April through the channels of the State Agency of Tsat said.
