A resident of the Moscow Region Pavel Kalinin for 10 days without food and water wandered through the forests of Novgorodchina after getting lost, and at the same time survived, reports Interfax .

35-year-old Kalinin disappeared on May 1 near the village of Vasilyevchina, Novgorod region. He went there as part of a special group, in order to honor the memory of the front -line soldiers who died on this earth on the eve of Victory Day. Kalinin was found only 10 days after the loss - he went to people on the border of the Parfin and Old Russian regions.

Saved from the exhaustion of the lost traveler Chaga - a mushroom growth on the trees. According to Kalinin himself, in the forest he found a frying pan, in which a decoction of chaga and swamp water was boiling at the stake. The drink gave him strength and allowed him to move on.

Kalinin also said that he saw the EMERCOM helicopter several times, but could not give him a signal. According to him, he was not terrible, but he was worried about his relatives who all this time did not know if he was alive.

After his discovery, Kalinin was exhausted and exhausted, but told the police that he felt good and abandoned the medical care that Novgorod specialists offered to him.

The resident of the Moscow Region called his salvation "second birth." In the near future, Kalinin intends to return home to his wife and mother soon.
