An exhibition of Proteus Temen will be held in Moscow

On Friday, May 16, the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art (MMOMA) will open an exhibition “Cave of generosity”, at which the works of the Russian “first wave of digital globalization” of the Proteus of the tree will be shown.

The project “Cave of generosity” in the MMOM is an attempt to rethink and streamline the author’s language, a special system of signs and a game of meanings in the works of Proteus Temene, the organizers report . The exhibition shows a sculpture, art objects, graphics and videos, on which Proteus has been working for the past few years, as well as the artist’s personal belongings, forming a total installation in the museum space that immerses the viewer in the universe of Surritativeism of the Proteus of the Arms.

From the environment, the artist borrows models, forms and fragments, which he then puts in another context, alien to them. In this collision and collision of different elements, a dialogue of two poles is born - bodily and spiritual, artificial and natural, figurative and abstract.

To create such a dialogue of Pro, darkness invents its sign system, its own dictionary. The visual language of his works, at the same time minimalist-exciting and abstract-philosophical, refers to the universe of computer games and the Internet. Deliberately abstracting from established cultural codes and relevant contexts, Proteus plays with the collective unconscious era of total graphic design. The hemisphere, half -magic symbolism is read by the viewer at an intuitive level, immersing it in the network of author's mythology.

The exhibition of the Tepen Proteus in MMOM will last until June 15.
