Today, May 15, Colta.ru is happy to open a joint project with the Yegor Gaidar Foundation-the “Museum of the 90s”, dedicated to the last decade of the twentieth century in Russia.
Our Internet Museum is an attempt to identify and analyze the specifics of this contradictory era of radical political and social transformations. As Yegor Gaidar wrote: "This time was a revolution comparable in its influence on the historical process with the Great French Revolution, the Russian Revolution of 1917, Chinese - 1949."
In the four sections of the “Museum of the 90s”- “Freedom of choice”, “Freedom of business”, “freedom of life”, “freedom of speech”- photo and video collection, bright and unexpected documents from home archives, interviews with experts, iconic public figures and ordinary people will be published.
Our Internet Museum is an invitation to discussion. We want his visitors to also become its creators and share their memories, interpretations and artifacts.
You can leave your comments under the materials, as well as send to museum90@gaidarfund.ru .
