The government's plenipotentiary representative in the highest courts of Russia, lawyer Mikhail Barshchevsky, showed the highest income for 2013 among government employees, according to information published on Friday, May 16, on the government website.

The document states that in 2013 Barshchevsky earned 96.86 million rubles. He is the owner of two land plots with an area of 3,300 and 23,107 square meters. m and two residential buildings with an area of 399.9 sq. m. m and 153.9 sq. m. In addition, he owns two cars - a Mercedes Benz S 500 and a Citroën Berlingo.

The income of Barshchevsky’s wife in 2013 amounted to 33.7 million rubles. She owns five land plots with a total area of about 23,000 sq.m, three residential buildings - 1554 sq.m, 216 sq.m, 544 sq.m, as well as three apartments measuring 100 sq.m, 236 sq.m and 15 sq.m. She also owns five cars, including a Lexus, Mercedes and Hummer.

Following Barshchevsky in terms of income in the government apparatus is the presidential envoy to the Federation Council, Vladimir Yatskin. His earnings in 2013 amounted to 33.22 million rubles.

The press secretary of the Russian Prime Minister, Natalya Timakova, earned 7.29 million rubles in 2013. The most modest income among government staff was shown by the deputy head of the secretariat of Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, Mikhail Vorontsov, who earned 2.6 million rubles in 2013.
