
In St. Petersburg, two teenagers were detained for a robbery on a 50-year-old Frenchman. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Leningrad Region.
According to the press service, on May 14, two unknown people in the center of St. Petersburg threatened a foreigner with a knife, hit him with a wooden bat on the leg and took away a mobile phone, after which they disappeared from the crime scene. The police detained two suspects who turned out to be 16-year-old teenagers and seized the stolen.
The victim was provided with medical assistance, after which he was sent for outpatient treatment.
