The pictures taken from the satellite showed that North Korea has two latest warships, AP reports.
Pictures of ships, which became the largest of those built in this country over the past 25 years, were taken from December 2013 to January 2014. They can see that one ship is in the port of Nampho, and the second-in the shipyard of the North-East port of Nadzhin.
At the same time, the vessels have helicopter sites and are equipped with special complexes that allow fighting with South Korean submarines.
The American armament expert North Korea Joseph Bermudes indicates that the creation of such ships shows the insufficient effectiveness of measures aimed at restraining the military potential of Pyongyan. At the same time, the senior analyst of the Rand Corporation Bruce Bennett believes that despite his modernity, the ships will not be able to make the DPRK a powerful naval power.
