Beat Film Festival announced the participants of the TALKS program

The festival of new documentary movie about music Beat Film Festival, which will be held in Moscow from May 27 to June 8, announced the composition of the TALKS program participants - a series of talk about the future of documentary cinema.

This year it is devoted to how documentary cinema interacts with adjacent areas - from contemporary art and photographs to advertising production.

Talks Hedliners are contemporary artists and directors of the film “20,000 days on Earth” Iain Forsyt and Jane Pollard (Great Britain), the web director and author of all interactive clips of the Arcade Fire group Vincent Morisset (Canada) and the legendary British photographer Kevin Kamins, which cooled with the most famous musical in the world for 25 years New Musical Express magazine.

Also, the program is the producer of the film “20,000 Days on Earth” and the founder of the British production company Pulse Films Thomas Benski, the French video artist Marie Lozier and the producer of the Manchester art festival Paul Clai.

Among the Russian participants of Talks, the director of the film “Still” about the Auktsyon group Dmitry Lavrinenko, the author of the film about Yegor Letov Natalya Chumakova and Oleg Nesterov, the author of the first multimedia documentary project “From the Life of Planet” in Russia.
