Pupils who failed the surrender of this or that subject within the framework of a single state exam will receive the right to repeated retake, Izvestia reports. According to the publication, the corresponding order is prepared in the Ministry of Education and Science.
According to the document, schoolchildren will have the opportunity to hand over the exam three times in one subject if, following the results of the exam, an unsatisfactory assessment was received or the student wants to get a larger number of points in the final exam. Now, if the student has received an unsatisfactory result on the exam, then he can only retake it a year later. The department plans to make legislative changes in terms that will allow repeated retake since 2016.
The initiative was confirmed by Izvestia and the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov, noting that there is no question of specific dates for the entry of the initiative.
"The planned changes will increase the objectivity of assessing students' knowledge and the effectiveness of conducting the exam, ensure the continuous process of passing. We leave the hard framework - this will significantly unload both the inspectors and the students themselves. It is also a psychological stress: when the graduate knows that he only has one chance to pass, this is a stress factor that can prevent it from properly to show His knowledge, ”Livanov explained.
The changes will be made to the procedure approved last year by the state final certification on educational programs of secondary general education, and they will affect the graduates of the next year. The head of the Ministry of Education and Science noted that changes in the structure of the exam cannot be made on the eve of final exams.
The issue of increasing attempts to surrender a single state examination was discussed at the highest level. Last fall, during the meeting of Vladimir Putin with teachers, it was proposed to create an open database of the exam and allow students to pass the state examination several times until the final exams ended. The idea was approved by the president, and he proposed to consider it "as a working version and to work out some details."
The changes will also affect the graduation, which, in addition to state examination, will have to prepare from this year. According to Livanov, the main option is to write an essay in conditions close to passing the exam (in special points). The essay will be a admission to pass the exam, and it will be written in December according to the system "offset or non -performance".
If the student received an obstacle for the final essay, he is given an additional attempt to re -change, however, if the student does not pass the essay for the second time, then he will only be able to retake it next year. This means that, with a negative result, in two attempts, the student automatically does not fall into the passage of the exam and will be able to experience his knowledge only in a year.
