In early May, the solvency of Russians on loans was at the minimum level in recent years. Overdue debt continues to grow, evidenced by the review data conducted by the collection agency "Sequoia Credit Consolidated."
Overdue debt by the beginning of May reached 514.8 billion rubles , that is, increased by 17% since the beginning of the year. This is a record, it is noted in the review: over the same period in 2013, growth was 14%, 2012-4.3%.
At the same time, the increase in lending reached a four -year minimum. Since the beginning of the year, banks issued employees of loans by 10.3 trillion rubles, this indicator is growing more sluggish than last year ( +3.5% versus +8.4% in January-April 2013).
Experts see the reasons for the decline in the lending market, the reasons for the actually disposed incomes of the population, as well as the negative impact of inflation and unemployment. In addition, the banks themselves complicate the refinancing procedure, that is, to take a new loan to extinguish the old one, it becomes more difficult.
