In Russia this year, a privatization plan will not be implemented. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov in an interview with Russia 24, ITAR-TASS reports .
According to the minister, instead of the planned 196 billion rubles, 26 billion rubles of revenues from the sale of state -apparatuses will receive the budget. In this regard, Siluanov did not exclude the possibility of earlier privatization of Rosneft.
The fact that the Rosneft’s state -owned state can be sold already this year (although the government’s plans were to implement the asset until 2016), the Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukaev said on May 17. He noted that the package can be privatized both entirely and in parts.
The government plans to privatize 19.5% minus one Rosneft campaign. Following the privatization of the largest oil company of the Russian Federation, the state will retain the control package. It is assumed that the budget revenues in the case of the sale of an asset will amount to 423.5 billion rubles in the form of dividends from Rosneftegaz (owns 69.5% of Rosneft shares).
