This is a kind of biography, I talk about what happened and how the group developed from the moment of occurrence, from my point of view. ”
Aerosmith released its 15th studio album "Music from Another Dimension" in November 2012. “This disc, one might say, is the quintessence of everything that we have done throughout the career,” said Perry. -In it you will find various directions of rock and roll. This is not Hevi-Metal, although there is a couple of hard rock compositions in the album, and a mixture of rock and roll, blues, Fanca. ”
“We experimented with the sound and tried to create a picture of what the music should be,” he continued. - Although Stephen [Tyler] and I write most of the material, each in the group contributed. Therefore, I believe that this is one of our best records, it is somewhat similar to the record of the 1970s and displays what we are. ”
Aerosmith was founded in Boston in 1970 by vocalist Stephen Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joei Kramer, who was a little later joined by the guitarist Brad Whitford. They recorded their debut album in 1973. Since then, more than 150 million copies of Aerosmith records have been sold around the world.
