A car exploded in Simferopol

The Daewoo Nexia passenger car took off on Wednesday in the sleeping area of ​​Simferopol, the investigation suspects this criminal trace. The driver of the car received burns and shells, he was taken to the hospital.

According to the Investigative Department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea, the incident occurred at 17:50 Moscow time near the city hospital on the 1st Horse Army Street. Initially, the version of the explosion of gas equipment, which was located in the car, was put forward, but it was not confirmed.

On the fact of the explosion, a criminal case was instituted on the grounds of attempted murder in a generally hazardous way, intentional damage to other people's property and illegal circulation of explosives, ITAR-TASS reports.
