Ukraine asks to urgently convene a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the situation in the country. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk while visiting a military unit near Kiev, according to the official website of the head of government. Ukraine is ready to present evidence of Russia's involvement in the escalation of tension and attempts to break the elections in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.

Yatsenyuk noted that law enforcement agencies and the Security Service of Ukraine received irrefutable evidence of the presence of saboteurs and terrorists at the Russian military bases, who then penetrate into Ukraine.

On Thursday night, another, fourth in a row, an attempt to break through the border from the Russian side was committed, the prime minister said. “It was from the Russian Federation that the three KamAZ, accompanied by a Niva car, tried to break through the state border of Ukraine,” Yatsenyuk said.
