According to The Hollywood Reporter Russia , the film will also compete for the Golden Camera prize for the best artistic debut.
The film takes place in the house for the deaf -mute, the main roles are performed by unprofessional actors.
The director said that he had long dreamed of making a picture in the traditions of silent cinema, but so that this technique was due to the circumstances of the plot. In the "tribe" there are no subtitles and a sunset voice, the heroes communicate with each other exclusively in the language of gestures.
In addition to the Grand Prix of the “Criticism Week”, Miroslav Svyshpitsky received two more awards in this section: the France 4 channel for the visionary film and the Gan Foundation prize, which undertakes to release Miroslava Svoboshpitsky in the French rental.
