Anton Oreh: "Elections in Ukraine: to recognize or not?"

“If you look at the opinion polls of our citizens on the occasion of the presidential elections in Ukraine, we will see that almost 40% of those surveyed are already against the recognition of these elections in advance. And such citizens can be understood. After all, through all channels they are told that the Kiev junta is fighting with its people, that it is difficult to talk about legitimate elections when there are large-scale military operations.

So our deputies do not want to send observers, fearing for their safety, and are very skeptical about an event that has yet to take place. What a contrast with the assessment of the so-called referendums in the southeast... That is, it’s not like that: in the southeast there were just referendums, but in the rest of Ukraine there were “so-called” elections.”
