Moscow can be left without a CDI

The criminal case on the director of the central house of art workers (CDI) Elena Smirnov was sent to the prosecutor's office of the South-Western District of Moscow. The Central House of Artists is sure that the raider seizure of expensive real estate is going on.

The building on Pushkhanchny Street in the center of Moscow is trying to take away from the Central House of Artists for several years. Back in 2002, the former leadership of Moscow issued a certificate of actually, but in May 2012 the Arbitration Court recognized him illegal and confirmed the ownership of the autonomous non -profit organization of the Central House of Sciences.

Nevertheless, in February 2013, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on the fact of falsification of the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, a number of searches and interrogations of members of the board and leadership of the Central House of Arts.

The director of the Central Committee of the CDI Elena Smirnova opened a criminal case under Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("commercial bribery"), it was detained. Investigators were repeatedly invited by all members of the supervisory board of the CDRI and asked for testimonies, but the Supervisory Board refused to recognize the damage caused to the building on which the charge was built.

In March of this year, more than seven thousand artists of art, culture, science and public representatives signed a letter to Vladimir Putin with a request to intervene in the situation, stop the illegal persecution of Elena Smirnova and prevent the capture of the Central House of Sciences.

“The destruction of the Central House of Arts takes place in someone’s personal interests,” said Mark Rozovsky, a member of the Presidium of the Board of the Central Administration, the People’s Artist of Russia, the artistic director of the Russian Artist, the artistic director of the Russian theater, Mark Rozovsky. - We know the names of people who are interested in this. And now, apparently, taking advantage of the connections in the relevant structures, they began an absolutely illegal war against specific people - they slandered, denigrated, started the case. ”

“We have long known these ways of the soviet. This is a practice, which a long time ago, unfortunately, is known. - says the playwright. “The case is clearly provoked, the person is slandered, and the reason is clear - it is necessary to decapit the Central House of Sciences in order to take possession of this property, this real estate.”

“The house of art workers really needs it, this is the house of the intelligentsia, these are colossal traditions, many clubs, beautiful evenings, free events. This is how it is all into the garbage chute is just a moral crime, ”says Mark Rozovsky.

“What will happen in return? Cultural and entertainment center? Trade of glamorous supplies? Or will it be someone's private club? ”He asks.

Mark Rozovsky is sure that the CDRI should be preserved: “The Ministry of Culture is quite capable of not to close the Central House of Artists, not to destroy what has been created, but maybe investing, help fix something.”
